gut-friendly Chicken Artichoke Marinara

Try this savoury comfort meal that not only tastes great but is nourishing and gut-friendly.


  • 2 organic chicken breasts
  • Olive oil
  • Chickpea pasta (spaghetti style is great!)
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 3/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 Tbsp dried oregano
  • Salt + pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup canned artichoke hearts
  • Marinara sauce of choice (I love Rao’s)


  • Dice chicken breasts and season with salt + pepper to taste.
  • Saute chicken in skillet with olive oil until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees fahrenheit.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  • Add pasta to the skillet with chicken. Stir in remaining ingredients until heated through.
  • Toss with marinara sauce and enjoy!
